Charming 1906 Historic Home Revival

A historic Dutch Colonial home built back in 1906 is located along a peaceful, lush street in Capitol Hill, Seattle. The building received a complete makeover by Exterior Crew without losing its charming historical essence. Our team used fiber cement James Hardie Lap Siding with Raw Cedar Shingles accent at the gable. As for colors, the divine combination of dark night blue and white works particularly well for traditional styles.

Perfect blend of lap siding and cedar shingles

We love to mix and match a variety of elements to generate an exceptional character. Observe how organically these two types of siding fuse together.

The gable features

The gable is framed by eave soffits and a fascia board with molding components. Authentic colonial architecture is enhanced by Marvin Replacement custom windows and Clear Raw Cedar #1 Shingles.

Incredible exterior color aesthetics

White pastels emphasize the saturated shades of blue and are used to accent window trim, eave soffit, fascia board, and belly band. To protect the exterior, Sherwin-Williams super paint was selected - a formula that resists fading and peeling in any weather.

Custom fiberglass windows by Marvin Replacement with ornamental elements are bringing the outdoor lighting inside while offering durability and strong performance.

Eave soffits and fascia board

Primed James Hardie beaded porch panels at eave soffits to add texture and protection from damaging moisture, insect activity, wood rot, and mold.

Attention to the details

Neatly installed Finger Joint Clear Cedar belly bend with molding elements draws attention to the architectural attributes of the house.
